The City Manager is charged with directing and managing all the functions of the City.

The Manager implements the Policies of the City Council which are normally stated through Ordinances or Resolutions.

The Manager hires, supervises and directs all city staff, interacts with the Public on a daily basis, provides the Council background and recommendations, frequently serves as the City´s representative on various committees and organizations, and oversees Economic Development activities.

The Manager prepares a recommended budget for Council consideration.
