The Streets Department consists of a supervisor and 3 full time employees. The primary responsibility of this division is to maintain City streets, alleys, and other properties and right of ways. Regular duties consist of:

• Patching and repairing streets
• Repainting traffic control markings such as cross walks
• Repairing, replacing, or installing traffic and pedestrian signs
• Controlling vegetation that could impede vehicular or pedestrian traffic, or the visibility of signs or markers
• Maintaining Draining Ditches/ Flood Control
