About the Mayor

Greg Hancock

Mayor of Willcox, Arizona

Greg Hancock, the newly elected Mayor of Willcox, has called Willcox home for the past decade. With four years of service on the Willcox City Council and a recent re-election to a second term, Greg has developed a strong commitment to the city’s growth and success.

As the owner and operator of the Arizona Sunset Inn, Greg took on the challenge of revitalizing a closed hotel, transforming it into a successful, thriving business that not only provides visitors with a comfortable place to stay but also plays a key role in revitalizing the downtown area, creating jobs, and strengthening the local economy. His commitment to Willcox goes beyond his business, as he continues to invest in the city’s growth and future.

Greg and his wife are the proud parents of two children. They volunteer as much as they can to support their children's school and contribute to enriching educational opportunities in the community.

As Mayor, Greg is focused on working alongside the community to improve the quality of life, build on the city’s strengths, and continue its path of growth and revitalization.

Willcox has seen tremendous improvements in recent years, from the revitalization of our downtown area to the development of new infrastructure and community amenities. I am proud of all that we’ve accomplished, and I look forward to continuing this progress alongside the City Council. Together, we will build on the positive momentum, creating new opportunities for growth, strengthening our local economy, and improving the quality of life for all residents.

Willcox has truly become home to my family and me, and I take great pride in being part of this community. I am committed to working alongside our residents to ensure Willcox thrives for years to come. My goal is to continue making Willcox a place where people want to live, work, and visit—a place where we all feel proud to call home.
